Genshin Impact free 5 star Aloy character coming soon

Developers miHoYo have been hard at work releasing a new update for Genshin Impact. This new update dubbed 2.0 brought a number of new features to the game including new characters. While many expected the new characters to be purchase only, the studio has dropped a bit of a bombshell. It has been announced that a Genshin Impact free 5 star Aloy character is coming soon.

Horizon Zero Dawn Aloy Coming to Genshin Impact

News of the free new character was made by miHoYo on their official community website. The post revealed the new Aloy character that is based off the main character from popular title Horizon Zero Dawn. This new character is dubbed the “Savior From Another World” and will be free to acquire across all platforms. The acquisition process s broken up into two phases:

• Phase 1: After the Version 2.1 Update – Start of Version 2.2 Update Maintenance (October 13, 2021 05:59 UTC+8) PS4/5 users can grab the character.

• Phase 2: After the Version 2.2 Update – Start of Version 2.3 Update Maintenance (November 24, 2021, 05:59 UTC+8) other platforms can grab the character.

To get Aloy for yourself you simply need to login to the game after the dates listed above. When you log in while the event is active Aloy will land in your in-game mailbox. You can also get her Predator bow at the same time.
