Enshrouded Early Access Release Date Revealed

Keen Games, has unveiled the Enshrouded Early Access release date, and its sooner than expected. This title dominated Steam’s Next Fest 2023 demo and garnered a massive player following eagerly anticipating the full release. Fortunately for those waiting won’t have to wait much longer.

Enshrouded is set to debut on Steam in Early Access on January 24, 2024, followed by full releases on consoles in the near future.

To commemorate the release announcement, the studio release a new YouTube video. This release date trailer provides a deeper glimpse into the upcoming title, showcasing new elements of the game’s combat, exploration, and base building systems.

Keen Games has dedicated several years to the development of Enshrouded. The studio’s journey began with the 2016 released Portal Knights, laying the groundwork for their latest creation.

Enshrouded merges survival, combat, and voxel-based building, influenced by Valheim, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Minecraft. They channeled these inspirations to craft an enjoyable, user-friendly experience for beginners.

Players can play Enshrouded either solo or with friends. The game supports up to 16 player co-op at a time in the realm of Embervale.

At Steam Next Fest 2023, fans had the opportunity to enjoy a substantial 8-hour demo of the game. This demo achieved remarkable success, earning accolades such as Most Played Demo, Most Wishlisted, and Most Daily Active Users. It even secured a spot at the top of our 5 Games to Wishlist from Next Fest 2023 list.
