How to Unlock the Wayfinder’s Compass

To unlock the Wayfinder’s Compass, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Season 15 Patch: Before you can get started, ensure that you’ve downloaded the latest patch associated with Season of the Lost.
  2. Start the Cocoon Mission: Once in-game, a cutscene will trigger and introduce the Cocoon mission on the Dreaming City. If the mission doesn’t begin automatically, head to the Dreaming City Destination and look for the quest prompt in the top right corner.
  3. Interact with the Compass: At the end of the Cocoon mission, you will meet with Petra Venj, Osiris, and Saint-14. Petra will then direct you to a nearby room where you’ll find the Wayfinder’s Compass. Interact with the compass to unlock the artifact and it will be added to your inventory.

The Wayfinder’s Compass grants you access to a variety of seasonal mods that are essential for fighting through Season of the Lost’s tough enemies. You’ll find it in your Character screen at the bottom left, where you can preview its mods and upgrades.

The artifact grants mods that focus on defeating specific Champions, improving weapon performance, and enhancing your ability to take down enemies across the Dreaming City. To unlock each mod, you need to earn XP by completing seasonal activities.

  • Unstoppable Pulse Rifle: Aiming down Pulse Rifle sights loads a high-impact burst that stuns Unstoppable Champions.

  • Disrupting Blade: Consecutive hits with a Sword stun enemies, delaying their ability regeneration.
