With Sagira now resurrected after completing A Deadly Trial, it’s time to access the Infinite Forest by starting the Beyond Infinity quest. This mission is longer than previous ones, so be prepared for multiple combat encounters. Below, we’ll guide you step-by-step to help you complete this quest efficiently.

Step 1: Enter the Gateway on Mercury

To begin Beyond Infinity, head to the Gateway on Mercury. If you’ve logged out after the last mission, you may need to activate the quest flag again. Once inside, follow the straightforward path and listen to Osiris’s reflections as they provide key story details about his past and the Vex threat. This section is combat-free, so just keep moving forward.

Step 2: Enter the Infinite Forest

The Infinite Forest is a procedurally generated simulation filled with enemies and shifting terrain. Imagine it as a constantly expanding structure, like a LEGO build that extends as you progress. Your objective is to defeat enemies and unlock gates that lead deeper inside.

Key Tips for the Infinite Forest:

• Each new section spawns tougher enemies, so pace yourself.
• Defeating all enemies in an area will unlock the next gate. Look for the message “Forest pathway cleared” above your abilities.
• Bring Arc weapons to deal with shielded foes and Solar weapons for Vex combatants.
• Take cover between fights—enemies can swarm quickly.

After clearing the first section, you’ll reach the next tower.

Step 3: The Second Tower

Upon arrival, Osiris will discuss Mercury’s past before the Vex took over. Once he finishes, a portal will open—step through it to enter another Infinite Forest sequence. As before, fight your way through multiple enemy waves to advance. The difficulty increases here, so use heavy weapons when needed.

Step 4: The Final Tower & Panoptes Encounter

After clearing the second Infinite Forest section, you’ll reach the third and final tower, where you’ll finally meet the real Osiris. As he explains the situation, Panoptes—one of the Vex’s most powerful minds—attacks, disrupting the simulation. The environment begins to collapse, forcing you to make a quick escape.

Osiris creates a portal—step through it to exit the Infinite Forest and complete the mission.

Step 5: Speak with Ikora Rey

Return to the Tower and speak with Ikora. She will reward you with a Legendary weapon and send you on the next mission, Deep Storage, which takes place on Io.
