Destiny 2 Armor Synthesis Introduction Guide
In the Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer Bungie introduced a new cosmetic system called Armor Synthesis. This new system allows players to equip armor sets cosmetically by creating Universal Armor Ornament. This means you are able to further customize the look of your Guardian. Get Armor Synthesis Introduction Quest
To start the Armor Synthesis quest line you need to first visit Banshee-44 on the Tower. Make your way to the Gunsmith and speak to him. Accept his Legendary weapon quest then accept the Armor Synthesis Introduction quest he offers you next. Once you have this quest your first step to visit ADA-1 on the Tower.
Speak to ADA-1 on the Tower
When looking at the map you may notice that ADA-1 is back on the Tower. She is located in the Annex zone on the Tower in the west room that features the thread machine. Go to this location and speak to Ada to advance the mission to quest objective 2.
Terminal Scanned and Processor Grabbed on Europa
After you speak to Ada your next quest step is to scan a terminal that is located on Europa. Open your Director and then open the map of Europa. Over the Bray Exoscience you will see a quest marker for Armor Synthesis Introduction. Land wherever you like and make your way to this quest marker. Once you are at the location interact with the Terminal to collect data from it.
Collect Processor
When you scan the terminal the next step is to collect a processor. The processor you are looking for is located on the other side of the room. Go through the double-doors and grab the processor off the work bench.
Return to Ada and Tell Her Your Findings
Take the data from the terminal and the processor and head back to Ada on the Tower. Speak to her then attach the processor to the machine behind her when prompted. After the processor is attached you need to speak to Ada again. She will give you the Synthweave Strap. This item allows you to create ornament pieces of any armor you’ve acquired. Ada will then have a new quest for you called Tying it All Together (9 steps).
