Borderlands 3 Shift Codes List for November 2024
In Borderlands 3 there are special codes players can use to unlock a chest on Sanctuary 3. These codes are called Shift Codes and they can be inputted to earn a variety of rewards in-game. Active Golden Keys & Weapons Shift Codes
The majority of codes in Borderlands 3 come from the official Gearbox X account. The company will periodically shoot out a Tweet that contains the relevant code.
Besides the Gearbox X the company President Randy Pitchford will often Tweet out codes as well. Follow his X account here.

Active Cosmetic Shift Codes
Occasionally there special Borderlands 3 Events Gearbox holds that give away special cosmetic Shift Code rewards. These rewards often don’t have an expiration.

How to Input Shift Codes
There are two methods for players to use to input Shift Codes in-game: website and Social Menu. To input the codes using the website head to the Borderlands’ Website and Select the Shift link in the top menu. Sign-in then input your codes. The second option, Social Menu, can be located in-game. Login to the game then navigate to Social > Shift Code.
How to Claim Golden and Diamond Keys, Plus Chest Locations
Both the Golden Chest and the newly added Diamond Chest in Sanctuary III require specific keys to unlock—Golden Keys for the former and Diamond Keys for the latter.
After inputting a Shift Code for Golden Keys, claim the reward through the in-game mail system. Once accepted, you’ll receive a message confirming your reward. From there, head to Sanctuary 3 and locate the Golden Chest using the map marker. It’s near the fast travel station. Approach the chest and interact with it to unlock a variety of rewards like weapons, shields, and grenades.
For the Diamond Chest, once you’ve obtained a Diamond Key (either through the Vault Card system or Shift Codes), head to the bridge in Sanctuary III. Underneath the bridge, you’ll find the Diamond Chest podium. Interact with the podium to trigger three special cases containing top-tier gear. You can pick one item from each case, and after making your selections, a Legendary item will appear on the podium as an extra reward.
