In Blasphemous 2 mother & sleeping child are a duo of NPCs that you will encounter as you explore the game. These NPCs have very little to say, but there is a questline associated with them. To complete this questline you must find lyrics for a lullaby the mother sings to the child. To find all the lyrics and complete the quest, see our Blasphemous 2 mother and child unfinished lullaby quest guide below.
Where to Find the Mother and Sleeping Child in Blasphemous 2
The mother and sleeping child NPCs are located in the named area of Profundo Lamento. This duo is located in the small square room to the left of the Prie Dieu room. When you first visit this location the mother will say only a brief line of dialogue, leaving completing her questline up to your interpretation.
How to Complete the the Mother and Sleeping Child Quest in Blasphemous 2
To complete the mother and sleeping child questline you need to find a total of five unfinished lullaby pages scattered throughout Cvstodia. These pages are hidden in the following named locations:
- Sacred Entombments.
- Crown of Towers (x2 pages).
- Basilica of Absent Faces.
- The Severed Tower.
As you find the pages listed above you create a lullaby for the mother to sing. Once the lullaby is complete you then must return to her and deliver the song for her to sing it. Grab the pieces in the locations below to do that.
Unfinished Lullaby Location: Sacred Entombments
In the Sacred Entombments area head to the location highlighted on the map above. In the upper section hit the hidden corner in the right corner to small alcove. Go into the alcove to grab a piece of the Unfinished Lullaby.
Unfinished Lullaby Location: Crown of Towers 1
In the Crown of Towers area go to the room highlighted on the map above. Make your way to the bottom of this room to encounter some mirrors you can use the Sarmiento & Centella blades on to warp up. At the top climb the wall and jump to the ledge that has a piece of the Unfinished Lullaby on it.
Unfinished Lullaby Location: Crown of Towers 2
In the Crown of Towers area go to the room highlighted on the map above after riding the elevator down. In this room climb the wall to the left. At the top jump to the platform on your right. On this platform you will find another piece of the Unfinished Lullaby.
Unfinished Lullaby Location: Basilica of Absent Faces
After fighting the three Regrets bosses and learning about your next task you unlock the new area called Basilica of Absent Faces. Go to this location and make your way up it. In the second very long vertical room go into the room on the bottom right. Defeat the two paintings in this room and jump over to the piece of the Unfinished Lullaby.
Unfinished Lullaby Location: The Severed Tower
Make your way forward through the game until you reach The Severed Tower area. In this area go to the square room on the map shown above. On the left side of this room at the top opposite the blue chain there is a hole in the wall you can slide through. Slide through the hole to reach the Unfinished Lullaby.
What to Do With the Lullaby of the White Shore in Blasphemous 2
Once you’ve collected all five of the Unfinished Lullaby it will change into a new item called Lullaby of the White Shore. Take this new item and go back to the Mother and Sleeping Child in the Profundo Lamento area. Speak to her again and give her the lullaby. She will then speak it out to the child. Following the lullaby you will be prompted to enter the Dream. Select Yes to do so.
The Dream is a short side-scrolling platforming sequence you finish by running, jumping, and using your different abilities to go right until you reach a light. Upon completing this sequence you will return to the world and will receive the Teinto to your Thorned Hairs Prayer.
That’s all you need to do to complete the Blasphemous 2 Mother & Sleeping Child questline. This quest is fairly simple to complete but does require getting fairly far into the main storyline.
