Once you return the book Barid will ask you to speak to Ciara. Ciara is waiting inside of the church for you. Speaking to her is part of the new main quest called War Efforts. To complete this mission you need to raise influence in Meath by completing new activities called Royal Demands. To help you complete this mission use our Assassin’s Creed Valhalla War Efforts guide below.

Complete Royal Demands in Meath

Leave the church and head to the map marker to find a pigeon coop. Approach the coop and interact with it to open up the Royal Requests. There are infinite Royal Demands you can complete in the game. You will complete 6 of them over the course of the main story and 10 if you want to unlock the King’s Maker trophy/achievement. At this point there are three available to you to complete in Meath:

  1. Death to All: Clear entire camp of enemies.
  2. Royal Vengeance: Kill certain enemies in a camp.
  3. Gemstones: Get gemstones back from enemy.

Accept all three Royal Demands to have them added as side missions on you map. Go complete all three of them (basically go to a location and complete a task). Read the King’s Plea for each Royale Demand for optional objectives that include things like remaining undetected, not taking damage, and so on.

Once you complete all three of the Royal Demands in Meath you will complete this mission. The next mission to complete in the main story is called Gathering Strength. You can also pick up different Royal Demands across various locations to complete for their rewards. If you need the added goods do some now.
