To sell items in Animal Crossing New Horizons you first want to advance the game past the opening tutorial part. Once this opening portion of the game is complete you can access the Nook Tent. inside the Nook Tent you will run into Tom Nook and his employees Timmy and Tommy. The employee we want to talk to is Timmy. Speak to Timmy to sell items. Timmy buys most things including litter and garbage.

When you offer an item to Timmy for sale he will give you an offer in Bells. Depending on the item you may be happy or mad over the offer. If you don’t wish to sell after seeing what Timmy offers you can pass on his offer.

As you playthrough Animal Crossing New Horizons you will spend a ton of time visiting Timmy in the Nook tent. Timmy is one of the easier methods of acquiring a large amount of Bells in a short amount of time.
