International Museum Day Rewards Guide in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Plaques from the Stamp Rally.

Every year, Animal Crossing: New Horizons celebrates the International Museum Day event, where players can participate in a special activity called the Stamp Rally. This event is a fun way to engage with the museum’s exhibits and earn exclusive rewards. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of International Museum Day and collect all the rewards!

Event Dates

  • Announcement: On May 18, Isabelle will announce the start of the event. Head over to the museum to get started!
  • Event Duration: May 18 – May 31, 2024

How to Participate in the Stamp Rally

  1. Talk to Blathers: When you first visit the museum during the event, speak to Blathers to learn about the Stamp Rally and receive your stamp card. He’ll explain how to collect stamps and what rewards you can unlock.
  2. Collect Stamps at the Stamp Stations:
    • Fish Gallery: You’ll find three stamp stations here—near the fish tanks.
    • Bug Gallery: The stamp stations are located throughout the bug exhibits.
    • Fossil Gallery: Stamp stations are placed within the fossil displays.
    • Art Gallery (Introduced in 2021): If you have the art gallery unlocked, don’t forget to stamp in this area too!
Each stamp station corresponds to a different section of the museum, and you’ll need to interact with them to fill up your stamp card.
  3. Return to Blathers for Rewards: After filling out a stamp card (by collecting all three stamps from one gallery), bring it back to Blathers to receive your reward—a plaque for that gallery. You can repeat this process every day to collect all the plaques!

International Museum Day Rewards

Once you complete the stamp card for a gallery, you’ll receive a special plaque. The following plaques are up for grabs:

  • Fish Plaque: Awarded after completing the Fish gallery’s stamp card.
  • Bug Plaque: Awarded after completing the Bug gallery’s stamp card.
  • Fossil Plaque: Awarded after completing the Fossil gallery’s stamp card.
  • Art Plaque (Introduced in 2021): Awarded after completing the Art gallery’s stamp card.

You can place each plaque anywhere on your island or inside your home as a wall-mounted item to show off to your friends.

How to Maximize Your Rewards

  1. Participate Daily: The Stamp Rally lasts for the entirety of the event, so be sure to log in each day to earn your stamps. The locations of the stamp stations may change daily, so check out each area of the museum.
  2. Earn Multiple Plaques: You can earn multiple plaques for each gallery if you wish to collect more than one of each type. This can be a fun way to display a collection of plaques in your home or on your island.

Event Tips & Tricks

  • Explore the Museum: The stamp stations in each gallery might not always be in the same location every day, so make sure to explore all sections of the museum to find them.
  • Get the Art Gallery Ready: If you haven’t unlocked the Art Gallery yet, now’s a great time to work on filling up your museum. You’ll be able to participate in the Stamp Rally for this gallery once it’s unlocked.
  • Display Your Plaques: Use these plaques to decorate your home or island. They’re a great way to show off your participation in this event and highlight the museum’s exhibits.
  • Celebrate with Friends: Invite friends to your island to admire your plaques or visit their museums to check out their collections!
