Windblume Research Report Guide – Genshin Impact
Windblume Research Report is a side mission players can complete during the Windblume Festival in Genshin Impact. This side mission is part of the Act IV missions of the Festive Anecdotes. To complete this mission you need to help a foreign researcher who is visiting Mondstadt. This researcher needs you to take a few pictures around the city. How to Start Windblume Research Report Quest
To start the Windblume Research Report side quest you need to advance the Festive Anecdotes until you unlock access two the final two missions. Among the two final missions you will find the Windblume Research Report. This can be seen on the Festive Anecdotes page under Act IV. Select Get Quest to start the Windblume Research Report mission and get your first quest objective.
Talk to Sayid and Take 3 Pictures
Once you’ve started this quest the first objective is to talk to Sayid. Sayid can be found inside the Library in the Knights of Favonius headquarters. Speak to Sayid in the Library to learn about his research report on the Winblume Festival. To complete this report he needs you to take three pictures across Mondstadt.
Photo 1: Floral Decorations in Fountain Square
The first photo Sayid requests from you is to take a picture of floral decorations in the fountain square. The location for this photo is found near the main gates in Mondstadt near Flora (will be a quest marker on your map). Head to this location and angle your camera up at the floral decorations on the buildings above. Open photo mode and snap the same picture shown above. This will complete the first photo location for Sayid.
Photo 2: Flora
Note: Flora needs to be at her shop. If she isn’t just pass time until she is. Also note Flora is not available until you complete the Windblumes and Snowflakes side quest first.
The second picture Sayid needs you to take is located nearby at Flora’s stall. Head over to the stall and position yourself so you can see the flower girl. Repeat the photo process again and snap a picture of Flora and yourself. This will complete this photo location and will unlock the final location.
Photo 3: Anemo Statue Near Cathedral
The third, and final photo, you need to take is of the large Anemo Statue near the Cathedral in Mondstadt. Make your way to the quest location and stand so you are facing the statue. Access the game’s photo mode and snap the final for Sayid picture.
Once you’ve snapped the three pictures listed above take them back to Sayid at the Library. Give the images to Sayid to end the mission. For helping out Sayid you receive XP, Primogems, Mora, and Hero’s Wit.
