When is the Starfield Release Date

Starfield, the long awaited title out of Bethesda finally has a release date and it is sooner than you may have expected. News of the release date came during the Xbox Bethesda showcase which featured a brand new look at the space RPG. Let’s take a closer look at when is the Starfield release date below.

Starfield Release Date Announced

The official announcement trailer showed the release date for the upcoming space RPG coming from Bethesda. The trailer feature two reveals of the date. One reveal comes during the trailer when the numbers 11-11-22 appear on the main console of the ship. This appearance of numbers is confirmed at the end of the trailer when a more official looking reveal date of November 11, 2022 is shown.

A lingering question regarding the release date is whether or not Bethesda actually hits it. Barring no delays I don’t see why this release date is farfetched. With that said there could potentially be hiccups in the design process that push the game back. One thing to point out is that the date has sentimental value to Bethesda as it would exactly 10 years from the Skyrim release.

When the announcement for Starfield was made there was an interesting bombshell dropped. The game will be exclusive to Xbox consoles, so PlayStation players are not going to get a chance at it. The game will be coming to PC, however, through the Gamepass system used by Microsoft.
