Vampire Survivors 6000 Sammies Enemies Guide
In the Vampires Survivors Tides of the Foscari DLC there is an unlock that can be completed by defeating a total of 6000 Sammy the Caterpillars enemies. This may sound simple enough, but finding this enemy is a bit difficult. To help you complete this unlock see our Vampire Survivors 6000 Sammies Enemies guide.
Where to Find the Sammies Enemies
To complete the 6000 Sammies unlock go to the Lake Foscari stage. From the spawn make your way to the left. As you go left you will reach a field area with some raised cliffs (shown at the map location above). In this area you will spawn in Sammy the Caterpillar enemies regularly among the waves of other enemies. Remain in this location as long as possible until you have secured 6000 kills.
Getting to 6000 kills either takes time or a strong build. If your build is strong enough you will have no problem farming up to the 6000 in a single run. If your build is not it may take subsequent runs to secure the total amount. Some items that are useful for completing this unlock include the Pentagram, Ophion, and Luminaire.
Additionally if you really want to boost spawn rates be sure to max out the Charm PowerUp before your run. You can also grab the Skull O’Manic item and select the XIII – Wicked Season Arcanas at the during the run for higher enemy spawn rates.
To track your progress you can use the in-game Bestiary. Once you’ve killed one of the Sammy the Caterpillar enemies you will unlock entry #131. At the top of the entry there is a running Defeated tally that shows how many you’ve killed so far.
Once you’ve destroyed 6000 of these pesky enemies you will have completed the unlock. This unlock adds a new DLC character to the game’s roster in the form of Sammy, a caterpillar character that starts with the Vicious Hunger weapon.
This is not the only enemy challenge to complete in the DLC. There is a second challenge that tasks players with finding 6000 Rotting Ghouls. See our guide for help in completing that unlock.
