Ubisoft Forward 2021 Games Announcements Rundown
The Ubisoft Forward 2021 event was the first major publisher event during E3 2021. This event took place on Saturday June 12th at 12 PM PT. All Ubisoft Forward 2021 Game Announcements
Ahead of the conference many of the popular IPs Ubisoft creates tweeted out that they would not be attending the conference. Titles like The Division were no shows at the show. With that said there were a few titles that did appear in the event that should have Ubisoft fans excited. See the full list of Ubisoft Forward game reveals below. Rainbow Six Extraction | Story trailer. If you know nothing of the game it is basically a Left 4 Dead style co-op survival shooter. September 16th release date. It will have cross-play. |
Rainbow Six Extraction Gameplay footage | Gameplay is basically a PvE version of R6. They showed off a full level. The further in they went the higher the threat level of the enemies they fought. |
Rocksmith+ | 10-year old play real guitar game gets a trailer. New content is coming to the game including help videos and community content. The + version is a subscription learning service for PC, consoles, and phone. |
Riders Republic | Extreme sports mmo title. Trailer showed a mix of gameplay and cinematics across a variety of extreme sports including downhill biking, snowboarding, and wingsuits. |
Rainbow Six Seige update and trailer | Quality of life developments are coming to the game: – Launch on Stadia June 30. – Crossplay between Luna, Stadia, and PC. – Crossplay across consoles. Closed by showing an animated trailer for Thunderbird, a new operator coming next week. |
Game’s Updates Sizzle reel | There are a number of updates running or coming to already released Ubisoft titles including For Honor, Trackmania, Brawlhalla, and other titles. |
Just Dance 2022 | Trailer for the new Just Dance 2022 dancing title. Includes 40 new songs. |
AC Valhalla support feature | Ubisoft is committed to supporting AC Valhalla for the foreseeable future. They will be adding more updates both paid and free. The next paid expansion will be The Siege of Paris. They will be adding a Discovery Tool to the game so you can explore areas. |
Look at Ubisoft Movies and TV shows | Mythic Quest tv show and Werewolves Within movie. |
Far Cry 6 trailer and look at Season Pass | New story trailer for Far Cry 6. Also got a look at the game’s season pass content where you play the villains from previous games. |
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope | Cinematic trailer for a follow up to the WiiU title. Will include a galaxy of planets to save. Not just Mushroom Kingdom. Showed some pre-alpha footage of the game (so early development). 2022 release window. |
Avatar: Frontier of Pandora | A cinematic trailer for the Avatar game was shown. 2022 release window. |
That was everything shown in the event today. Overall a pretty muted experience with a number of IPs we’ve seen already. The only really big announcement was Avatar and that was only a cinematic trailer.
