The second quest in The Way of the Berserker pre-order questline in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is called The Ritual of the Berserker. This quest tasks players with collecting Nightshade from a graveyard in East Anglia for Bjorn. To help you complete this quest we’ve put together The Ritual of the Berserker guide below.

Where to Find Nightshade

Once you complete The Mysterious Berserker quest you will unlock the second quest in the questline. This second quest tasks you with finding Nightshade for Bjorn. In East Anglia, you can locate Nightshade in graveyards. Keep an eye on your map; it will highlight two specific graveyards for your convenience. Head to whichever location you wish and grab the green and yellow plants.

Reach the Gallows Tree

After you’ve grabbed the Nightshade you will need to make your way to Bjorn at the Gallows Tree. This location is in the southern section of East Anglia. Approach the tree to trigger a cutscene with Bjorn. During this cutscene Bjorn will craft a special Berserker concoction that Eivor will drink.

Once the cutscene ends you will need to fight a bear that attacks you almost instantly. During this fight you will not be able to use weapons. Instead you will need to bareknuckle box the bear. You can win or lose this fight. The result doesn’t matter. When you are back in the real world head back and speak to Bjorn again.

This ends the second quest in The Way of the Berserker pre-order questline. There is one more quest needed to be completed to finish this quest. This final quest is called The Vengeance of the Berserker.
