The Game Awards 2023 GOTY Games Have Been Announced
As we approach the close of 2023, The Game Awards is gearing up to celebrate exceptional games released during the year. Among numerous accolades, the coveted title of Game of The Year stands out. In anticipation of the December 7th event, The Game Awards 2023 has officially unveiled its GOTY nominees.
What Games Are Nominated for The Game Awards 2023 GOTY
There are a total of 31 awards categories up for grabs this year at The Game Awards Show. This collection of awards crosses a number of different categories including games, Esports, and content creation. Among the top awards is Game of The Year which features the following 6 game nominees:
Game of the Year Nominees

- Baldur’s Gate 3
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Resident Evil 4
- Super Mario Bros. Wonder
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Remedy’s Alan Wake 2 and Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 lead the total nominations, each securing nods in 8 categories, marking them as top contenders to bring home the most awards.
