Wreck Guide – The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan
Once you and the gang set sail in The Duke you will start the second chapter of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan called Wreck. During this chapter you play as Alex. Alex and the crew are getting ready to dive down to the wreck below. Use our Wreck guide to find all collectibles and set yourself on the path to getting the game’s best ending.

- There is one collectible in this chapter: White Framed Picture #2: High and Dry.
- Choices made in this chapter do impact the outcome of the game.
Wreck
At the start of Wreck we see Fliss taking care of Brad who is seasick. We then briefly watch Alex and Fliss talk (choose whatever response you want). After this interaction Alex walks over to Conrad and Julia. Respond to Fliss with whatever choice you want when she speaks to you again. You will then take control of Alex.
Walk Alex over to Julia and talk with her (best responses):
- INTERESTED: “Need a hand?”
- SUPPORTIVE: “Making a fortune on this trip.”
To gain a little more insight on the captain of the ship we need to find an item in the boat’s cab. This item is Fliss’s ID. It can be inspected for further details on the character.
Fliss ID Location
After speaking with Julia walk Alex over and pick up and inspect both sides of Fliss’ ID which is on a cabinet on the right side of the boat cab. Doing this unlocks a new set of dialogues with Fliss.
Walk Alex over and speak with Fliss. See list for the best responses:
- POLITE: “Sorry about earlier.”
- SELF-ASSURED: “Dived a couple of wrecks.”
- BELLIGERENT: “Who’s gonna know?”
Once you’ve completed this interaction it’s time to grab a collectible located below deck. Head down below to reach a new section of the ship.
Collectible: White Framed Picture #2: High and Dry
Walk Alex below deck into the front of the ship. Look beside the stairs and you will find the High and Dry White Framed Picture. Interact with it to collect the premonition.
After you’ve grabbed the collectible make your way to Brad who is in second room on the right. Brad is in bed due to seasickness. While speaking with Brad choose to be SYMPATHETIC by saying “Don’t worry”.
Return to the deck and interact with the Rebreather. Be PLAYFUL with your response of “Lookin Good.” After you complete this interaction have Alex take the bangstick and the camera. Alex will take a selfie with himself and Julia. They will then dive in. This ends the chapter and starts the Dive chapter.
