Where to Get Prismatic Jelly in Stardew Valley
In the 1.5 update for Stardew Valley players can now complete Special Orders from the board just south of Mayor Lewis’s house. These special orders come from the different townsfolk and typically require more effort to complete than normal orders. Completing these special orders is well worth the effort as you will receive a number of rather useful items and recipes. One Special Order you should complete is given to you the local town wizard M. Rasmodius. This order tasks you with tracking down Prismatic Jelly. How to Complete the Prismatic Jelly Quest for Wizard
To begin this quest you need to wait for it to appear on your Special Orders board in Pelican Town. Once this quest is available (called Prismatic Jelly) you should Accept it. Once the quest is accepted you have 5 days to track down the rare and dangerous Prismatic Slime that appears within the local caves.
Where to Find the Prismatic Slime
While the Wizard quest is active you may find Prismatic Slimes on any of the floors local mine. This rare slime type is recognizable by its constant changing of colors while on the move. This enemy has a guaranteed drop of the item we need for the Wizard. Once you find and defeat the Prismatic Slime it will drop a jar of Prismatic Jelly. Pick it up to advance to the second portion of the Wizard’s Special Order.
What to Do With the Prismatic Jelly
Once you have the jelly in your possession head to the Wizard’s Tower and gift the item to him. When you deliver the special jelly the Wizard will thank you and tell you to leave. Claim the 5000g reward from the Quest Journal then wait one day to receive the Monster Musk recipe. When the Monster Musk item is used you draw more monsters to you.
