Separate Ways Eradicate the Blue Medallions Request | RE4R
In the Cliff area of Chapter 2 of the Separate Ways DLC for the Resident Evil 4 Remake, there is a request players can complete for the Merchant. This request is called Eradicate the Blue Medallions. Where to Start the Eradicate the Blue Medallions Request in the Cliff Area
Make your way through Chapter 2 until you reach the area called Cliff. In this area you will encounter a Stone Dais puzzle to solve. While you are solving this puzzle you hookshot to a wooden platform along the cliffside. On this wooden platform is the blue request note. Pick it up to learn the following request details:
Description: “We can’t let that blasted cult do as it pleases! Won’t someone clean up their blue medallions? The wretched things befoul the area!”
- Request: Destroy all the blue medallions.
- Area: Cliff.
- Reward: Spinel x6.
- Progress: 4 medallions.
You don’t have to pick up this note to complete the request. It simply gives you more details on the challenge for the area. If you see any Blue Medallions you can simply shoot them regardless.
Cliff Blue Medallion 1 Location
A medallion can be found underneath the platform you hookshotted to to reach the request form. It is to the right of the yellow symbol. Look for it hanging on the bottom of the platform.
Cliff Blue Medallion 2+3 Locations
Hookshot over to the wooden platform and immediately turn around. Look straight ahead and you will find a medallion hanging from the cliff to the left of the stone dais pedestal. Shoot it. From the same spot look down to the platforms on the cliffside below to find another medallion hanging on a wooden platform.
Cliff Blue Medallion 4 Locations
The last blue medallion is located at the very end of the wooden platform you picked up the request from. Look for the medallion hanging from the top of the cliff.
Once you’ve shot all of the medallions listed above you can continue forward through Chapter 2. Eventually you will encounter the Merchant. Speak to him and he will give you the Spinel reward from this request.
Completing this request gives you progress towards the Jane of All Traits Challenge. This Challenge tasks you with completing all of the requests from the merchant in the DLC. Completing it earns you 700 CP and unlocks the Elite Knife.
The next Merchant Request players can complete is located in Chapter 3. This request tasks Ada with finding Leon’s missing Jacket and then selling it to the Merchant.
