To advance through Chapter 13 of the Resident Evil 4 Remake, players must find a Wrench. This key item allows you to gain access to the machine that will make the Level 3 Keycard. Where is the Wrench in the RE4 Remake
Once you’ve secured the Level 2 Keycard in the Freezer your next step is to head to the Incubation Lab. In the Incubation Lab make your way to the very north room. Here you will find the Biosensor Scope in a case. Pick it up then equip it to a Rifle (Stingray is really good for this). After you’ve equipped the sight on the weapon, head into the room with the four Regeneradors in the tubes.
In this room equip your rifle and use the Biosensor Scope to inspect each of the enemies in the Incubation Lab. The one we are looking for has the Wrench inside of it (is random which has it). Once you’ve spotted the Wrench holding enemy simply shoot the parasites inside it and pick up the Wrench when it dies.
What to do with the Wrench in the RE4 Remake
Once you’ve secured the Wrench the next step is fairly simple. Make your way back to the room where you found the Biosensor Scope. Inside this room on the north wall is a Bolted Cover. Interact with the cover and use the Wrench on it. Leon will open the cover allowing you to use the Keycard Overwrite machine. Use it to turn the Level 2 Keycard into a Level 3 Keycard.
