Resident Evil 4 Remake Dining Hall Puzzle

The Resident Evil 4 Remake Dining Hall puzzle is a puzzle players encounter during Chapter 9. This puzzle is located in the Dining Hall and requires sitting at very specific seats at the dining table. To help you solve this puzzle see our Dining Hall puzzle guide below.

Dining Hall Puzzle Solution

When you enter the Dining Hall you will be wondering how to progress through this room. To solve this room you need to open the Caged Serpent Statue. To do this you need to sit Leon and Ashley at specific seats of the dining table.

To learn the solution to this puzzle you need to look at the paintings of the Queen and King at the far end of the Dining Hall. These paintings show the pair sitting at specific places on the table. The places they show shown in the picture above. I am standing with my back to the portraits for orientation. Ashley at the first seat on the left of the far table and then Leon at the second table on the second seat to the right.

After you sit down ring the bell. Ashley will also ring the bell. If done correctly the Caged Serpent Statue will open. Go over to this statue and interact with it to receive the Serpent Head (Key Item). This item is required to complete Chapter 9, so the puzzle has to be solved.

While you are in the Dining Hall you will want to snag the Blue Medallion that is located there. Additionally if you haven’t done so already you can kill the Rat running around to contribute to the Pest Control 2 request.
