Remnant 2 DLC is Coming To Players in November
This month, Remnant 2 receives its first significant DLC – The Awakened King, expanding on the Gunfire made title. Launching on November 14, this marks the game’s first major content expansion, with two more DLC packs planned for 2024.

The first Remnant 2 DLC reveal trailer is fairly short, but shows off a variety of new aspects players can expect when the content pack releases. There is a new location to explore, new enemies to fight, new weapons to acquire, and new secrets to uncover.

In this upcoming DLC for Remnant 2, The One True King has awakened and is out for blood. Corrupted by the Root during his near-death slumber, the mad king sees betrayal at every turn and is on a rampage of revenge. Since his castle first arrived in a Dran coastal town, the tides are angry and the weather is chaotic, surfacing all manner of creatures from the depths and leaving many mysteries in its wake. In a brand new storyline, survivors must uncover the secrets behind The One True King by exploring a mysterious new area within the world of Losomn. In this strange new location, survivors will traverse new dungeons, acquire powerful equipment, meet unexpected allies and face new threats in their adventure to reach The One True King and defeat him once and for all.
Remnant 2 DLC: The Awakened King DLC Details, Price, and Release Date
Alongside the trailer reveal, fans also got more concrete details regarding exactly what’s inside the new Remnant 2 DLC. The details, shared by Gearbox about the first DLC pack are:
- New Storyline, Dungeons, and Area in the World of Losomn: Delve deeper into the mysterious realm of Losomn, and uncover the harrowing narrative of the One True King, whose mind has been tainted by the Root’s corruption, driving him to seek revenge against those who oppose him.
- Introducing The Ritualist Archetype: This new character archetype excels at utilizing status effects to torment their foes. Further details about this enigmatic figure will be unveiled as the DLC’s launch date draws near.
- A Wealth of Items and Powerful Weapons: Equip your survivor with a wide array of new weapons, modifications, amulets, and rings, essential for survival in the perilous, redesigned Losomn.
- New Bosses, Characters, and Fearsome Creatures: The ocean depths yield mysterious threats and survivors of unknown origin, adding new layers of challenge for players as they traverse the chaos-ridden streets.
This first DLC release for Remnant 2 will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on November 14 for $9.99. Fans can purchase the DLC Bundle for $24.99 on November 14 to get The Awakened King DLC and have access to the two additional packs once they are available sometime next year. Those who purchased the Ultimate Edition of Remnant 2 will have access to the DLC at no additional cost.
