Armed with a camera, players will work with Professor Mirror to document Pokémon behavior and uncover ecological secrets. As in the original Pokémon Snap, your photos will be graded on criteria like composition, behavior, and timing.

One standout feature shown in the trailer is the Illumina phenomenon. This mysterious glowing effect surrounds certain Pokémon, including the Meganium highlighted in the footage. Players are tasked with investigating this phenomenon as part of the game’s story.
