Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC Start
The first major expansion for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet released on July12/13. This new expansion, called The Teal Mask, features a new adventure for players to experience in the game. How to Start the Teal Mask DLC in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet
To start the Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet Teal Mask content you need to ensure you are far enough into the base game. The official requirements are that you’ve reached your version’s academy and have started on the main storyline. If you meet this requirement then follow the steps below:
- Download and install the DLC pack.
- Login to the game.
- Speak to Jacq (he automatically phones you).
- Go to the academy’s Entrance Hall.
- Speak to the NPC waiting for you there.
After talking to the NPC in the Entrance Hall, you’ll initiate a conversation between Jacq, the trainer, and the teacher. During this dialogue, Jacq will add Kitakami entries to your Pokedex. After the conversation, talk to the teacher once more and choose “Yes” to proceed to the new location where the DLC storyline commences.
You and a group of students then ride the bus to the new area. On the other side you will watch another interaction. Following the completion of this interaction you will be prompted to complete a request from the teacher. This request is to run ahead and let the caretaker know that one of the students is feeling unwell.
After you complete that sequence and start the new school day you receive a new quest to find signboards across Kitakami. Use our Kitakami Signboard guide for details on completing it.
