The Teal Mask Take Photos With Signs
The first major quest players must complete in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet’s Teal Mask DLC is to take pictures with historic signs. To complete this task players must locate three signs throughout Kitakami and take a selfie with them. Signboard 1: Loyalty Plaza
The first signboard is located at the Loyalty Plaza area in Kitakami. This park is to the west of Mossui Town. Follow the path out of town going to the west until you reach a T. Take the right of the T where the sign says to enter the plaza area. Inside the plaza you will see the old signboard. To take a picture with it walk up to it and interact with it using the A button.
Signboard 2: Kitakami Hall
The second signboard is located at the Kitakami Hall in Kitakami. This building is to the northeast of Mossui Town. Follow the path out of town going to the east called Reveler’s Road. Take the road all the way up until you reach the building on the mountain. Head to the left of the building to find the sign next to the gazebo. Interact with it using A to collect it.
After you collect the second signboard you then need to explore the Dreaded Den area of Kitakami. This area is accessible by walking up the stairs by Kitakami Hall and then climbing the mountain. At the top you will need to complete a Pokemon battle. Complete it then you will enter the den. Following the interaction in the den you will unlock a new objective.
The sign quest takes a bit of a break here. You will need to complete a number of quest objectives regarding the Festival of the Masks before you can find the final sign. Work your way through these objectives until you meet up with Keiran once again and he tells you about the third sign.
Signboard 3: Paradise Barrens
The third sign is located in Paradise Barrens. This location is in the northeast corner of Kitakami. To reach use the path heading west from the Loyalty Plaza then go north through Wistful Fields. The sign is directly in the middle of the area. Interact with it using A and you will be asked to fight. Complete the fight then you will take the final picture.
Upon snapping the third sign picture you will complete the assignment. You are then prompted to head back to the Community Center to rest. Go back to the location and enter it then pass the night to trigger a new objective.
Each time you take a photo with one of the three signs listed above you will unlock it as a fast travel point. This gives you fast travel spots in Loyalty Plaza, Kitakami Hall, and Paradise Barrens. Additional fast travel points can be unlocked by finding all six Wonders of Kitakami.
