The Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Hisuian Growlithe is a special Teal Mask gift Pokemon that players can receive from the photographer named Perrin. This Pokemon is special both visually and from a lore perspective as it is Perrin’s own Growlithe’s younger brother. If you want to learn how to get the Hisuian Growlithe for yourself, read our guide below.

How to Get the Hisuian Growlithe in The Teal Mask

To receive this Pokemon gift from Perrin players need to complete a special questline that she offers to the Trainer after they catch a total of 150 Pokemon in the Kitakami Pokedex. After accomplishing this, Perrin requests the player’s assistance in locating the Bloodmoon Ursaluna so she can capture a picture of it.

Upon completing the Bloodmoon Ursaluna quest Perrin asks the player to visit her one final time in Mossui Town. When you speak to her in the town she thanks you for helping and gives you the Choice Scarf (item) and the Hisuian Growlithe Pokemon.

Hisuian Growlithe Details

The Hisuian Growlithe you receive from Perrin is level 5. This Growlithe is the younger brother of Perrin’s and is said to “really love battling.” Its nature is Jolly and it comes with either a Tera Type of Rock or Fire.

This is just one of multiple gift Pokemon that the player can receive in The Teal Mask DLC. Players that find Jacq can get a Sinnoh starter and there is even a Shiny Munchlax to hunt down.
