Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Blissey Raid Event

Hot off the heels of the Decidueye Tera Raid event comes another event in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. This new event tasks players with taking on Tera Raid battles against 5-Star Blisseys. UPDATE: This Tera Raid Event returned on April 21st. Details remained the same for the event, but there was a new date period during which the event ran. This period was April 21, 2023 at 00:00 UTC – April 23, 2023 at 23:59 UTC. Rewards for taking part in the raid remained the same.

Blissey Tera Raid Event Details

The Blissey Tera Raid event was announced for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet late March. The details of the event were shared via the Poke Portal news feed and the Pokemon Company’s various social media accounts. The major details of the Blissey Tera Raid Event you should know are as follows:

While the Blissey Tera Raid event is active players will find Blissey more often during five star Tera Raids. Be on the lookout for shiny map icons denoting the event. Additionally players can also join up online with either their friends or other trainers via the Poke Portal to take on Blissey raids that way.

Best Pokemon to Use Against Blissey

Given the low level nature of this Tera Raid Event you should be able to beat Blissey with any Level 100 Pokemon you have lying around. With that said if you are looking for Pokemon to absolutely melt this raid you will want to use any sort of fighting type Pokemon that has moves that counter its Tera Type. Some good Pokemon to use are:

• Iron Hands.
• Annihilape.
• Quaquaval.
• Lucario.
• Slither Wing.
• Great Tusk.
• Iron Valiant.

Since most players have Iron hands lying around due to the meta nature of the Pokemon, I highly recommend running that pocket monster for this event. Iron Hands has fairly wide coverage with its moveset which should make it capable of taking on differnt Tera Type Blisseys.

What Items does Blissey Drop during the Raid?

Like other raids Blissey drops items when it is caught/defeated. The items Blissey can drop are high level Raid items and you get a lot of them. For this event Blissey raids will drop more Tera Shards and Exp Candies. Additionally lucky trainers may even have the chance of encountering a Blissey that drops loads of additional Tera Shards of various types. The list of things you can potentially get from this raid are as follows:

• Rare Candies.
• Exp Candy L/XL.
• Tera Shards.
