November 2023 Game Releases to Be Excited For

2023 is shaping up to be one of the biggest games in gaming we’ve had in quite a while. This year has included a number of major title releases from the likes of Starfield to Spider-Man 2. This string of releases shows no sign of slowing down as we head into November. Here’s some of the biggest November 2023 game releases you should be excited for.

The Talos Principle 2 – November 2

Croteam has returned once more, offering a sequel to their critically acclaimed first-person puzzle game, The Talos Principle, which originally debuted in 2014. The upcoming sequel, The Talos Principle 2, guarantees an extension of puzzles, profound philosophical themes, and fresh, uncharted environments for players to delve into.

Before its scheduled release on November 2, a demo of the game is available for testing. The Talos Principle 2 will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Linux, Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Mac operating systems.

RoboCop: Rogue City – November 2

RoboCop: Rogue City took the gaming community by surprise, making its debut during the Steam Next Fest 2023. The developers, Teyon, unveiled a demo, giving players a taste of the game’s opening. This demo showcased intense FPS violence and offered a glimpse of the game’s RPG elements, including a choice system.

While the ultimate quality of the product remains uncertain, the demo undeniably delivered a cheerful and captivating experience for those in search of a straightforward corridor shooter adventure. RoboCop: Rogue City is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.

Thirsty Suitors – November 2

If you took a quick look at the game’s title and thought I had included an adult-themed one in this list, it’s understandable. Thirsty Suitors is undeniably one of the more unusual titles set to launch this month.

Crafted by Outerloop Games and introduced to the gaming world through Annapurna Interactive, Thirsty Suitors positions itself as a chic, story-centric adventure, incorporating elements such as turn-based battles, skateboarding, and cooking. Based on the trailer, it exudes a distinct vibe reminiscent of Scott Pilgrim both in its style and its story.

Thirsty Suitors will release on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox Series X and Series S.

WarioWare Move It – November 3

Rumors suggest that the Nintendo Switch is approaching the conclusion of its life cycle, with only a few major first-party releases from Nintendo left. Among the upcoming first-party titles for November is WarioWare Move It, a micro-game collection that offers up to four-player gameplay and includes a story mode.

Football Manage 2024 – November 6

Fans of Football are getting yet another one of their yearly release titles in November. Football Manager 2024 is releasing on November 6th. This title allows you to manage a football team and build it into a dynasty. This year’s version is reported to include smart transfers, squad building, set piece refresh, coach debut, player interactions, and improved player movement and ball physics.

Another interesting aspect of this release is that it is coming to Netflix. Fans that have a Netflix subscription will be able to play the mobile version of this title exclusively through Netflix when it releases.

Football Manager 2024 will release on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X and Series S, and mobile.

Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name – November 10

Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega. It’s set in the Yakuza universe and occurs between the events of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (2016), Yakuza: Like a Dragon (2020), and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (2024).

In this game, Kazuma Kiryu makes a comeback as a secret agent affiliated with the Daidoji faction. However, appearances can be deceiving, and a more significant mystery unfolds, challenging players to unravel the truth.

Like other games in the series, Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name features a bunch of mini-games to take part in. These mini-games include karaoke, Pocket Circuit racing, cabaret club, and even a fighting arena.

Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.

The Day Before – November 10

Update: The Day Before has been delayed to December 7.

One of the most controversial games scheduled for release this year is The Day Before, set to launch in November. This title is a third-person post-apocalyptic open-world multiplayer survival game, initially unveiled in 2021. It has encountered multiple delays since its announcement, involving trademark issues that led to its removal from Steam, as well as a planned transition to Unreal Engine 5.

It now seems that the game will be releasing in some form in November. The developers, Fntastic, have stated there will be a release trailer coming November 1 and it will be the last trailer before the game releases on November 10.

The Day Before will launch on PC when it is released.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – November 10

The biggest title releasing in November is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This release is the first major one from the now fully Microsoft owned Activision Blizzard. This game serves as the direct sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and marks the comeback of familiar characters such as Captain Price, Task Force 141, and the antagonist Vladimir Makarov.

The complete game package comprises a single-player story, multiplayer featuring 16 launch maps from the original Modern Warfare 2, and an open-world Zombie mode.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.

The Last Faith – November 15

An intriguing indie game set to release in November is The Last Faith. This metroidvania draws inspiration from Castlevania and Bloodborne, crafting a stunning pixel art gothic adventure. During the Steam Next Fest, players had the opportunity to try a substantial demo, and it received surprisingly positive feedback.

The Last Faith will release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Super Mario RPG – November 17

Completing the lineup of major November releases is a remake from Nintendo. The beloved 1996 title, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, is being reimagined with updated graphics and cinematics in the new game titled Super Mario RPG.

This new title marks the return of familiar characters such as Mario, Bowser, Peach, along with original characters like Mallow and Geno. Players will traverse the world and engage in battles with enemies using a turn-based RPG battle system.

Super Mario RPG will release on the Nintendo Switch.
