Kingdom Crossover Update Guide – Bloodstained Ritual of the Night

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night received an update today that added a couple of new things to the game. The first thing that was added is a new mode called Classic Mode. The second thing that was added (and is the topic of this post) is a new area to celebrate the Kingdom: Two Crowns crossover that occurred last year. This new Kingdom Crossover addition adds a new area to the game, a new boss, and a new shard for players to acquire. To help you complete the Kingdom Crossover update use our guide below.

How to Access the Kingdom Area Called Deadlands

The game has introduced a new area known as the Kingdom area. You can access this hidden location on your map once you’ve defeated Bathin. To meet this requirement, you must obtain the Crown of Creation headpiece item, which is available for purchase from Dominque/Anne beneath Arvantville for 1 Gold.

Once you have the Crown of Creation, head over to the train station. While wearing the crown, board the train from the left platform and travel to the right until you reach the end of the train. Interact with the door as if you were getting off the train, and when prompted, select ‘yes’ to skip to your destination. This will transport you to the new area called Deadlands.

Defeat the Breeder to Get Archer Shard

The Deadlands is a large outdoor room that is taken from Kingdom: Two Crowns. In this room head right to encounter the first Gaigin enemy. Defeat it then continue to the right to encounter a second Gaigin. Defeat this enemy and continue right again to reach the Breeder. This enemy is fairly tanky to fight and it spawns in enemies called Greedlings as its main source of damage dealing. When you do defeat the Breeder you will receive the Familiar: Archer shard which summons a familiar archer to follow you around when equipped.

That’s all you need to know to complete the Kingdom Crossover Update in Bloodstained Ritual of the Night. This event shouldn’t take you very long to complete, but it is a nice bonus to an already meaty experience.

I just did this last night. You don’t need to enter the train with the crown, you just need to be wearing it when you leave. Just as a heads up.
