The Rotom Bike in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield is your primary method of traversing around the over world quickly. This bike is given you near the start of the game when you save a doctor from some Team Yell thugs. The Rotom Bike has a turbo option you can upgrade. Purchase Turbo Upgrade From Rotom Rally NPC

To upgrade your Rotom Bike you want to talk to the Rotom Rally NPC you find throughout the Wild Area. For simplicity sake I showed one location on the map above. This NPC is found just outside the entrance to the Motostoke next to the Tent Color NPC. When you speak to the Rotom Rally NPC he will have the option to improve your bike. In total there are three tiers to this Turbo Charge upgrade which cost 1000W, 3000W, and 5000W (totals 9000W spent). Once you purchase the final upgrade your Turbo charge time is around 6 seconds per use. This greatly speeds up your travel in the Wild Areas.

That’s all you need to know on how to upgrade your turbo on Rotom Bike in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. While it may seem like a lot of Watts, purchasing the turbo cooldown is a good decision if you expect to spend a ton of time in the Wild Areas.
