How to Reach 14 Hearts with Sam

To unlock Sam’s 14 Heart Event, you’ll need to build your relationship with him up to 14 hearts. Starting from 0 hearts, you’ll first need to develop a friendship by giving him gifts she loves and interacting with him daily. Once your relationship reaches 10 hearts, you can propose to him using a Mermaid’s Pendant.

After marriage, you should be at 10 hearts. From there, continue to nurture your relationship by giving him favorite gifts to increase your hearts to the maximum of 14.

Sam Wants to Get into the Music Industry

When you step into your house, you’ll find yourself in Sam’s music room. Sam will express that he feels like he’s been slacking off and shares his desire to pursue a career in the music industry. At the end of the cutscene, he mentions he’ll keep you updated on his progress.

Sam Gets Composer Gig with Zuzu Broadcasting Group

Three days later, enter the farmhouse between 6:10 a.m. and 5 p.m. when Sam is inside to trigger the next cutscene. Sam receives a letter offering him a Junior Composer position at Zuzu Broadcasting Group, specifically for a children’s show.

Although initially disheartened, you can comfort him by choosing one of these responses (choice has no effect on relationship):

Three days later, enter the farmhouse between 6:10 a.m. and 5 p.m. when Sam is inside. Sam will play the song he’s been working on and express his newfound contentment with the job. After the cutscene, talk to Sam, and he’ll mention that the song will be completed in a few days.

You and Some Kids Watch the TV Show

Four days later, enter your upgraded farmhouse between 6:10 AM and 5:00 PM, when Sam is inside, to trigger the next cutscene. You, along with Jas and Vincent, will watch the children’s TV show featuring Sam’s music. The kids will dance happily to the song, and Sam will thank you for your support. As a reward, you’ll receive Sam’s Boombox with his song, which you can play anytime.
