How to Unlock the Alex 14 Heart Event in Stardew Valley

How to Reach 14 Hearts with Alex

To unlock Alex’s 14 Heart Event, you’ll need to build your relationship with him up to 14 hearts. Starting from 0 hearts, you’ll first need to develop a friendship by giving him gifts she loves and interacting with him daily. Once your relationship reaches 10 hearts, you can propose to him using a Mermaid’s Pendant.

After marriage, you should be at 10 hearts. From there, continue to nurture your relationship by giving him favorite gifts to increase your hearts to the maximum of 14.

Regularly gifting these items will help you reach 14 hearts with Alex. Once you’ve maxed out your relationship, Alex will acknowledge your bond with a special dialogue:

“Thanks for always being so thoughtful. I’m looking forward to our future together!” – Alex

How to Do Alex’s 14 Heart Event

Once you reach 14 hearts, you can trigger the event by leaving your house any day except Sunday between 6:00 and 8:20 AM. Make sure you’re in Year 2 or later, as Kent needs to be in town for this event to trigger.

Alex Needs 5,000G For Secret Plan

When you exit your house, a cutscene will begin where Alex approaches you and requests 5,000G for a secret project. After you give him the money, he’ll let you know that the project will be ready by Sunday. Spend time until then and head to the Saloon on Sunday to continue the event.

Enter the Saloon to Find a Gridball Watching Party

Head to the Stardrop Saloon around noon to trigger the cutscene for Alex’s 14 Heart Event. Inside, you’ll see Alex, Shane, Gus, Kent, and George in the back room, enjoying a Gridball game. Alex used the 5,000G to set up a special viewing area for his friends, turning Gridball Sundays into a new tradition.

Once the cutscene ends, the Alex 14-Heart Event concludes. This event reveals a different side of Alex, showcasing his passion for sports and camaraderie.
