How to Open the Supermarket Safe in The Last of Us 2
During the Patrol level in The Last of Us Part II you and Dina will make your way through a Supermarket. Inside this Supermarket you will encounter a section with spores in it. After putting on your gas masks you will be able to explore this area. One of the more interesting things you will find is a safe in the manager’s office. Here’s our guide on how to open the Supermarket safe in The Last of Us Part II.
Where to Find the Supermarket Safe
After dropping in through the hole in the roof of the Supermarket Dina will move a cart out of the way of a door so you can go through it. While she is moving the cart she mentions putting on your gas mask as the area is filled with spores. Once your gas mask is on go into the area and look for a crack in the wall you can shimmy through. On the other side of this crack turn to the right and go open the green door in front of you to reveal the Supermarket safe.
What is the Supermarket Safe Combination
Once you know where the safe in the Supermarket is you can go about trying to open it. Like real world safes you need to discover the combination for the lock. This involves searching the nearby area for a note. For those of you that don’t want to find the note the combination for the Supermarket safe is 07 20 13. When opened the safe yields the following items:
- 12x Scavenge.
- 14x Supplements.
For those of you that do want to find the combination look to the right of the safe on the desk for a note. This note gives a hint about the safe combination being the “date my good boy got Employee of the month.” To learn this date head back to the crack in the wall and look at the Employee of the Month board opposite it. The date the good boy got employee of the month is July 2013 or 07 20 13.
