In the new Full Bloom event in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne there is a new dual-blade weapon for players to unlock. This new dual-blade weapon looks like two fish. To help you get the dual-blade called the Whetfish Sabers, use our how to get the Whetfish Sabers guide below.

Complete A Fish to Whet Your Appetite Event

To get the new weapon you will need to complete a new Master Rank Event called A Fish to Whet Your Appetite. In order to complete this mission you will need to catch two Great Whetfish. To catch the Great Whetfish make your way to the nearest fishing spot and equip your Fishing Rod. Cast into the water and continue to fish until you catch two Great Whetfish (are the ones that trigger the fishing mini-game). When you complete this mission you will earn a quest completion reward of a Whetfish Ticket. This item can be turned into the Smithy to create the Whetfish Sabers.

How to Get the Whetfish Sabers Dual Blade Weapons

After you’ve gotten a Whetfish Ticket you can head to the Smithy to craft a new Dual Blade called the Whetfish Sabers. This weapon can be found under Forge Equipment > Weapons > Dual Blades > Workshop Weapon Tree > Whetfish Sabers. To craft this Dual Blade you need the following:

  • 1x Whetfish Ticket.
  • 2x Jyuratodus Shard.
  • 1x Jyuratodus Grandfin.
  • 5x Eltalite Ore.

Once you’ve crafted this weapon it will be added to your inventory. You can then weild this weapon on your hunts and access the weapon’s higher level which is Rarity 11.
