How to Get the Free Weekly Item in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
It has been a good run for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The game has been massively popular for the past two years. This popularity has led to a variety of updates that included new content, new items, and new characters to meet. As of December 6th the major content updates have been completed. To celebrate the occasion, Ubisoft has created a new system for players to get one free premium item, per week, from the in-game store. Where to Claim Free Weekly Item in the Animus Store?
The free item you can claim from the Animus Store is fairly simple to find. Load a game then open the Store and look for Exclusive Offers. Select this tile to be taken to a new screen. On this new screen you will see a Free Item tab. If need be, tab over to that screen.
On this screen you will see a prompt to claim your Weekly Free Item. Push the button prompt to trigger an animation. This animation is basically a sort of loot-box opening. When you open the box you will receive one, free, premium Animus shop item that would normally cost you Helix Credits to purchase (or via Opal through Reda).
Frequently Asked Questions About the Weekly Item
No. The item players receive is random. This means people will get different items each week.
Ubisoft explicitly stated that all items would be in the pool except for Licensed ones. This means no Destiny 2 weapons or armor.
The Free Animus item refreshes when the game resets each week. This occurs on Tuesday at 7 AM MST.
Sometimes the item appears to be unclaimable. One thing to try is to reset your system then turn it back on and log back into the game.
