How to Get the Civil War Knife in Red Dead Redemption 2

We’ve been chronicling the locations of every Unique Weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2 and we are back at it once again. This time we are going to show you how to get the Civil War Knife in Red Dead Redemption 2.



Go to Fort Brennand by Van Horn

To get the Civil War Knife, you war gonna need to make your way to a ruined Civil War fortress located to the southwest of the Van Horn Trading Post. When you reach the fort you will notice it is in fairly bad condition. Go inside the ruins and look for a building in the center. Go inside the building and go down the ladder into the basement. In the basement you will find the Civil War Knife on a bunch of crates. You can also grab a Civil War Hardee Hat beside the chest down here as well.

The Civil War Knife is a unique melee weapon in Red Dead Redemption 2. When you pick up the knife it is added to you compendium. Check out what the compendium has to say about the knife below:

An old Bowie knife with a solid blade, worn wooden handle and large D-shaped handguard for protection. This weapon was commonly used by Civil War soldiers, and is covered in rust. It was found in a storage room underneath the ruined Fort Brennand in Roanoke Ridge, New Hanover.

If you want to collect every single one of the 59 weapons in Red Dead Redemption 2, you will need to grab the Civil War Knife. The Civil War Knife is just one of the many unique weapons you can get in the game including the Viking Hatchet and the Rare Shotgun.
