Micah’s Revolver is a unique double-action firearm in Red Dead Redemption 2 that players can obtain after completing the game’s main story. However, there are also methods to acquire it much earlier with precise timing and strategy. This guide covers both standard and early acquisition methods, ensuring you can get this weapon as soon as possible.

How to Get Micah’s Revolver Early (Before Epilogue)

While Micah’s Revolver is normally locked until the end of the game, some players have found ways to obtain it during earlier chapters. These methods require careful execution but can give you access to his signature weapon long before the epilogue.

1. Disarm Micah During a Mission

One way to get Micah’s Revolver early is to disarm him during a mission where he is a companion:

  • Join a mission where Micah is a combat partner (such as “Blessed Are the Meek?”).
  • Position yourself near him in a gunfight and allow enemies to shoot at him.
  • If an enemy shoots Micah’s weapon out of his hand, quickly pick up the revolver before he retrieves it.

Note: This method requires precise timing and some luck, as NPCs don’t always disarm companions in combat.

How to Get Micah’s Revolver (Standard Method)

If you don’t want to risk trying the early method, you can get Micah’s Revolver by following the game’s natural progression.

1. Complete the Final Story Mission

  • Micah’s Revolver only becomes available after completing “American Venom” in Epilogue – Part 2.
  • This mission is the last story mission in the game and ends with Micah Bell’s death at Mount Hagen.

2. Return to Mount Hagen
