The first major DLC expansion for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield is almost upon us and with it comes a slew of new additions to the game. One new addition is new Pikachu and Eevee uniforms players receive for picking up the expansion pack. To help you claim your loot here is our how to claim Pikachu and Eevee uniform sets guide.

Purchase the Pokemon Sword or Shield Expansion Pass

To gain access to the two new uniforms you will need to buy the new Expansion Pack for either Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield. Once you’ve purchased the expansion pack you will get access to the new DLCs and will also receive an email to your Nintendo account that features codes for the Pikachu and Eevee uniform sets.

How to Claim Pikachu and Eevee Outfits

Once you have the email make your way into Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Shield. To redeem the code make follow these steps that are directly from Nintendo:

  1. Select Mystery Gift on the X menu.
  2. Select get a Mystery Gift.
  3. Choose get with Code/Password, then select Yes to save your game and connect to the internet.
  4. Enter you code (two codes to input).
  5. Watch as the gift arrives in your game.
  6. Be sure to save your game.

If you follow the above laid out steps you will receive the Pikachu and Eevee outfits in your game. Once you have the outfits you will need to head to the nearest boutique to put them on through the fitting room.

That’s all you need to know to to get the Pikachu and Eevee outfits that are part of the expansion pass. These outfits are simply rewards for purchasing the pass. There is no gameplay bonus from having these outfits.
