How to Change Mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Moving around the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla takes a number of different shapes. While you can traverse land on foot, it is often wise to summon a mount to make travel faster. You start the game with a normal mount but may want to spice things up as the game progresses. Below I will show you how to change mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Change Mount at Stables
To change the mount you currently have active you need to make your way to a stable in your settlement or out in the open-world. Access to stables occurs once you reach England where you will be able to build a stable for yourself. Once the stable is built you can freely change your mount via purchasing mounts from the Stable Manager (you will find DLC mounts here as well). To change the mount simply approach the NPC and ask to see their stock. This will bring up a screen showing you owned and for sale horses. You can also find stables out in the world that offer similar services (appear on your map as a horse).
That’s all you need to change your mount in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Getting to England takes a bit of time, but can be done in roughly 2 hours if you simply mainline the story missions. To see what missions need to be completed to get to England check out our complete guide.
