How to Access NBA 2K24 Pre-Order and Editions Items

It’s that time of the year again where 2K release their yearly version of NBA 2K24. This new version of the game features a bunch of new additions to the formula. Like years passed there are a variety of editions and pre-order bonuses players can get when buying the game. This guide walks you through how to access NBA 2K24 pre-order and edition items.

How to Get Your Pre-Order/Edition VC & MyTEAM Points in NBA 2K24

The first items players will unlock when the login to the game is Virtual Currency and MyTEAM Points. Keep in mind theses currencies will appear in your account within 24 hours after the first time you login to the game. This means either starting up MyCAREER or MyTEAM. You can see your current balance in the top right corner of MyTEAM (as shown in the screenshot above). If the currencies do not appear after 24 hours contact 2K support.

How to Get Your Pre-Order/Edition Cards in NBA 2K24

There are a ton of cards players get from pre-ordering and buying the various editions of NBA 2K24. All of these cards must be collected via MyTEAM. Go to the MyTEAM page and tab over to the COLLECT page. On this page select PACK MARKET then scroll over to Unopened Packs. Here you will find every card you are owed. Be sure to scroll right to get them all.

Future card packs, such as the 10 MyTEAM Promo Packs (delivered once per week), will appear in this location. You just need to remember to login and claim them each week you are awarded a new pack.

Where to Get Your Pre-Order/Edition Boosts in NBA 2K24

Next up on the goodies list is the different boosts you get from pre-ordering and buying the game’s different editions. There are a number of boosts players can use. Almost all of these boosts are for the MyCAREER Mode. To use these boosts login to that mode. In that mode you can do the following to use your boosts:

XP Coins: Go to the Seasons Tab > XP Coin. Highlight the coin to use and push select to activate it.
MyCAREER Boosts: Go to the Progression Tab > Skill Boosts. These Boosts will automatically apply during the number of games listed.
Gatorade Boosts: Go to the Progression Tab > Skill Boosts. These Boosts will automatically apply during the number of games listed.

The above are all for the MyCAREER mode. Players who purchased the Black Mamba/25th Anniversary editions get one additional bonus for use in MyTEAM. This bonus is 2-Hour Double XP. To use it navigate to that game mode and go to the Manage screen. On this screen you will find XP Coins. Select XP Coins to open a menu featuring coins you have. Choose a coin and push Redeem to use it.

Where to Get Your Pre-Order/Edition Clothing & Backpack in NBA 2K24

As always there is a collection of clothing items players get from the various editions of the game. These clothing items are located in the MyCAREER Mode. In this mode make your way to the MyPLAYER tab and choose Appearance. You will go to the MyPLAYER screen. On this screen go to Clothes. From here you can equip the various clothing items from your edition for use in The City and other locations. These clothes selections also include the Pre-Order Backpack and the Arm Sleeve.

Where is the Edition Electric Skateboard in NBA 2K23

Players that purchased the higher editions of the game gain access to an electric skateboard. This form of transportation is accessible immediately upon entering MyCAREER. While you are walking around the City bring up the movement wheel (LB/L1). On the bottom right is the Electric Skateboard.

Where are the Edition Bonus Level Skips in NBA 2K24

The final bonus certain players will receive is 16 Level Skips. These Level Skips apply to the game’s Season Pass. You get two skips per/season which means you start the Season Pass off at level 3. To collect your rewards simply go to Seasons > Season Rewards and then claim all available to you.

How to Get Your 12 Months of the NBA League Pass Subscription from NBA 2K24

Important: The 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass is not available with the NBA 2K23 Championship Edition in Japan or China. Also, the NBA League Pass is not available in Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Kosovo, North Korea, Russia, South Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, or Syria.

If you purchased the NBA 2K24 25th Anniversary Edition your final item is a 12-month subscription to the NBA League Pass service. This service allows you to stream NBA Games. You will receive an email to the account that made the purchase. In this email is instructions on how to start your 12 month subscription. Check out the FAQ on the 2K24 website for more details.
