How to Access NBA 2K20 DLC Items
Another year, another NBA 2K game to purchase and play. This year’s edition, NBA 2K20, is jammed full of DLC items to grab it you picked up any of the multiple versions of the game. To help you get all your items, I’ve thrown together this how to access NBA 2K20 DLC items guide. Read below to find out when and how you receive the various preorder and edition DLC items.
Important: In typical NBA 2K fashion the servers are terrible. Keep this in mind if you don’t see stuff appearing in your account. It may take some time to arrive. Also note you need to complete the Prelude to unlock things like shoes and clothing for your MyPLAYER.
How to Get Your Bonus VC
Depending on which version of NBA 2K20 you purchased will determine how much Virtual Currency you are awarded. For the Standard Edition folks that pre ordered, they are owed 5000 VC; the Digital Deluxe Edition owners are owed 35,000; and for the Legend Edition peeps, the amount owed is 100,000 VC. Regardless of which edition you purchased, the deliver method for the VC itself is the same. When you login to NBA 2K20 for the first time, your account should get credited the VC you are owed for whichever version you acquired. YOU NEED A CONNECTION FOR THIS TO WORK.
How to Get Your Edition MyTEAM Points & Cards
If you picked up the Digital Deluxe or Legend Edition of NBA 2K20, you are slated to receive 10,000/50,000 MyTEAM Points respectively. These points can be used to purchase MyTEAM packs. To get your MyTEAM Points, simply login to the MyTEAM mode and they will be credited to your account. YOU NEED A CONNECTION FOR THIS TO WORK.
How to Get Your MyTEAM Card Packs
All three editions of NBA 2K20 award players with different weekly card packs. These card packs are delivered in the MyTEAM mode throughout the NBA Season. You can open these card packs once you’ve received them.
Besides theses weekly card packs, there are Sapphire cards you will receive if you own the Deluxe/Legend Editions of NBA 2K20. These cards are Sapphire Dwayne Wade and Sapphire Anthony Davis. Both these cards and the weekly packs can be grabbed in the MyTEAM mode under the Pack Market Tab in the area called Unopened Packs. YOU NEED A CONNECTION FOR THIS TO WORK.
Where to Find the MyCAREER Skill Boosts?
In the Deluxe and Legend Editions of NBA 2K20 players receive 10/20 MyCAREER skill boosts. These Skill Boosts can be accessed from the pause menu. Make your way to Progression and you will see a Skill Boosts option. Select this option to see the Skill Boosts you have available.
Where Are The MyPLAYER Clothing and Apparel Items?
Another piece of DLC everyone will receive is the MyPLAYER Clothing Collection. This capsule is full of clothing for your MyPLAYER to wear. You can access this apparel by selecting MyPLAYER Appearance start option. From this menu you can choose to change your clothes. Here you will find the various pieces of apparel for your MyPLAYER.
Where to Get the ‘Pick 10’ MyPLAYER Shoes
In the Legendary Edition players will receive a 10 shoes they pick. These shoes can be selected from 2K Shoes. Simply head to this store in the Neigbhorhood and select 10 shoes. You will not be charged any VC for these.
I bought 2k20 the legendary edition 4days ago and still have yet to get my vc or any other gifts it comes with! What should I do?

i have tried this and has yet to receive them, bought the game using the nintendo switch E-shop thru pre-order for the legend edition.
is there any other way to receive them?
Same here, 2K and Nintendo keeps directing me one to the other about that….. I still do not have access to it.

I tried yesterday and don’t get anything but I hopped on my legends edition of 2k20 yesterday without knowing my account wouldn’t let me be logged in to so I kept hopping back on and didn’t recieve anything once it started working the next day is their any way I can get my rewards???
