Honkai Star Rail Opportunity Makes the Thief (Part 1)

If you are Trailblaze Level 21 or higher and have completed the Tailblaze Mission “Jarilo-VI – Silent Galaxy” you can take part in a special Adventure Mission. This Adventure Mission is called Opportunity Makes the Thief (Part 1), and completing it earns you various rewards. How to Start Opportunity Makes the Thief (Part 1)

To start the Honkai Star Rail Opportunity Makes the Thief (Part 1) mission you need to ensure you are Trailblaze Level 21 (or higher) and have completed the mission “Jarilo-VI – Silent Galaxy.” If you meet both requirements you will this mission on your missions screen. To start it simply meet Pela at the fountain in the Administrative District Plaza. Speak to her to visit the Belobog’s History and Culture Museum. This begins the questline.

Follow Pela

The missing exhibit in Honkai Star Rail.

In the museum you will get a new objective to follow Pela. This objective is fairly straightforward to complete. Pela walks you through the museum to an empty display case. The artifact that was in this display case has been stolen. Pela then asks you to find the missing item which may be in the Underworld. You will then teleport to the Vagrant Shelter in the Great Mine area and get a new objective there.

Chat with Swetta About the Situation

The NPC we need to speak to is located just northeast from where we teleport to. Walk over to Swetta and speak with her. Swetta tells you that stealing artifacts is a very common occurrence and there are some sources of clues you should look for. You and Pela split up and you get a new objective to complete.

Find Clues Based on Information Provided by Swetta

Opportunity Makes the Thief (Part 1) three clues.

The next objective you receive is to find clues based on the information provided by Swetta. When you speak to Swetta she mentions three clues for you to look into. These clues are automatically marked on your map by quest markers. They are as follows:

  1. Listen to the kids in the Vagrant Shelter.
  2. Investigate recruitment poster in Great Mine.
  3. Battle Robot Guards. Investigate crates they were guarding.

Upon researching these three clues you will need to report back to Pela with what you’ve learned. Go back to the Vagrant Shelter and speak to her there. During this interaction you will get a message from the Artifact Theft Special Investigation Group that says they’ve located the stolen artifact.

Go to the Goethe Grand Hotel to look for the Meteor Fragment

To continue the quest go to the Goethe Grand Hotel in the Underworld. Head inside the hotel’s Cheap Room. In the Cheap Room there is a piece of luggage you can interact with. Open the luggage to find the stolen Meteor Fragment.

Return the Meteor Fragment

Once you have the Meteor Fragment you need to return it to the Belobog’s History and Culture Museum. Go back to the fountain in the Administrative District and speak to the Museum Booth Attendant there. Ask here to take you inside. Once you are inside go to the empty exhibit and place the Meteor Fragment back inside of it.

Placing the Meteor Fragment in the case completes the Opportunity Makes the Thief (Part 1) quest. For your efforts you unlock the Free For Today achievement and get rewards of 200x Trailblaze XP, 40x Stellar Jade, 3x Refined Aether, and 30,000x Credits. Additionally you will unlock the second quest in the line called To Eris. The next quest in the main storyline is Opportunity Makes thee Thief (Part 2).
