Five Night’s At Freddy’s Help Wanted 2 Release Date Revealed

Today, The much-anticipated sequel Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 release date has been officially revealed. The title will release on December 14th for PS VR2.

The reveal of the official release date came on the PlayStation Blog on a post from Ray McCaffrey, executive producer from Steel Wool Studios. Alongside the release date the post also contained further details regarding what players can expect from the sequel.

Players that played the first game will immediately feel a familiarity to the sequel. In a May 24, 2023 blog post the developers explained the new experience as:

Help Wanted 2 will feel familiar to players who experienced the first game, but with all new games, locations, story, and animatronics. Do your best to complete your work as fast and as diligently as you can, but be careful. One wrong move at this job can lead to… unexpected consequences. Utilizing the enhanced power and fidelity of PS VR2, this title will be the most immersive, heart-racing Five Nights at Freddy’s title ever. PS VR2 sense controller and headset haptics let players feel every step, rumble, and shake as you race to complete your tasks on time. VR brings players even closer to the animatronics than ever before, just not too close, they have been known to bite.

In the sequel players will take part in a number of new mini-games in the familiar setting of the Pizzaplex. These mini-games come from six categories – Backstage, Fazcade, Staff Only, Food Prep, Ticket Booth, and a special category containing the new VR versions of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location.

Just like in the initial game, while playing these distinct mini-games players will come face-to-face with dynamic S.T.A.F.F. bots, killer animatronics, who are always on the move and lurking behind every corner.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2, officially releases on December 14th for PS VR2.
