Blasphemous features a winding journey through Cvstodia. During this journey you will explore various locales and fight different bosses. While you are exploring keep in mind that there are two possible endings for players to unlock: Ending B and Ending A. This ending guide for Blasphemous will show you how to get both the B+A endings.

Notes:

  • SPOILERS BELOW
  • Both B+A endings can be acquired during one playthrough. Simply complete Ending B first then do Ending A.

How to Get Blasphemous Ending B

Blasphemous ending B is the bad ending for the game. To unlock this ending all you need to do is reach the final area of the Deambulatory of his Holiness. Here you will fight the final boss His Holiness Escribar & Last Son of the Miracle. Upon defeat of this final boss head to the right and you will trigger a cutscene. After this cutscene attempt to make your way up the ash pile. You will fail and be consumed by it. This triggers Ending B. Unlocking this ending earns you The Path of the Unworthy achievement and the True Apostasy skin.

How to Get Blasphemous Ending A

Blasphemous ending A is the game’s good ending, but it is also far more involved to complete. This ending requires completing a number of steps to unlock. Read about each Ending A step below.

Get the Immaculate Bead

To start make your way to the Graveyard of the Peaks area and enter the Guilt Room here to get the Immaculate Bead. This Rosary Bead appears to be useless, but it is needed for Ending A.

Bead Description: “Simple bead, devoid of purpose. Its pristine surface has never been soiled by fervent fingers.

Once you have the Immaculate Bead, make your way to the next step.

Corrupt the Immaculate Bead

Equip the Immaculate Bead and die a total of 3x times while having the bead equipped. Doing this corrupts the bead into the Bead: Weight of True Guilt. With this bead we can complete the next step of this guide which is completing all Guilt Challenge rooms.

Complete all Guilt Challenge Rooms

With the Bead: Weight of True Guilt in hand, make your way to each Guilt Room in Cvstodia. Destroy the Guilt statues to reveal portals which lead to a challenge rooms. These challenge room involve surviving waves of enemies. Complete every Guilt challenge

Notes:

  • You need to have the Bead: Weight of True Guilt equipped to enter the challenge rooms.
  • Order of rooms completed below doesn’t matter. The end result of completing all seven challenge rooms is the Quest Item: Custodia of Sin.

Mother of Mothers Guilt Challenge Room

Complete the Mother of Mothers Guilt challenge room to earn the Quest Item: Budding Sprout.

Library of Negated Words Guilt Challenge Room

Complete the Library of Negated Words Guilt challenge room to earn the Quest Item: Grown Sprout and the Sword Heart: Heart of the Single Tone.

Wall of Prohibitions Guilt Challenge Room

Complete the Wall of Prohibitions Guilt Challenge room to earn the Quest Item: Thorny Briar.

Brotherhood of the Silent Sorrow Challenge Room

Complete the Brotherhood of the Silent Sorrow challenge room to receive the Quest Item: Bloodstained Briar and Rosary Bead: Embers of a broken star.

Grievance Ascends Guilt Challenge Room

Complete the Grievance Ascends challenge room to receive the Quest Item: Crimson Briar.

Graveyard of the Peaks Challenge Room

Complete the Graveyard of the Peaks challenge room to receive the Rosary Bead: Scaly Coin and Quest Item: Vine Braided in Blood.

Mercy Dreams Challenge Room

Complete the Mercy Dreams challenge room to receive the Rosary Bead: Seashell of the Inverted Spiral and Quest Item: Custodia of Sin.

Once you’ve completed all seven of the challenge rooms shown above you will have the Quest Item: Custodia of Sin. This quest item has the following description:

Small gift from Deogracias, nailed into the effigy of the Twisted under the guard of your sword. The thorns arisen from the Miracle feed on sin and guilt, growing with the burden that its bearer carries.

With this item in your possession make your way to the Deambulatory of his Holiness.

Defeat His Holiness Escribar & Last Son of the Miracle

The final step here is to defeat His Holiness Escribar & Last Son of the Miracle. Once defeated you can head to the right and speak with Degracious. After speaking with Decracious make your way up the ash pile. You will reach the Throne sitting on top. This triggers a cutscene. After the cutscene you will unlock The Path of the Believer achievement and the Son of the Miracle skin.

    Thanks for making this. Pretty disappointing “true” ending even if it goes with the theme of the game. You die in both endings, just one in ash and one on a throne, doesn’t seem worth all that extra work.

      you dont just die. you ascend and become their new saint/god. as that npc said, you have no place on the other side of the dream, your place is here with them.
