Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Forager Brood Locations

There are six Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Forager Brood characters players can find throughout the Realm of Shadow. These bugs are non-aggressive and will give Forager Brood Cookbooks and other items when interacted with. To help you track them down, see the full list of Forager Brood locations below.

Forager Brood 1 (Cookbook 1) Location: Near Ruined Forge of Starfall in Scadu Atlus

There is a Forager Brood to the west of the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past in Scadu Altus. It is standing along the cliffside at the map marker shown above. Speak to it to receive the Forager Brood Cookbook [1] and Glintslab Firefly.

Forager Brood 2 (Cookbook 2) Location: Near Cliffroad Terminus in Gravesite Plain

There is a Forager Brood to the southwest of the Clifforad Terminus Site of Grace in Gravesite Plain. It is standing in a graveyard at the map marker shown above. Speak to it to receive the Forager Brood Cookbook [2] and Black Pyrefly.

Forager Brood 3 (Cookbook 3) Location: End of Ellac River in Gravesite Plain

To find this Forager Brood make your way to the end of the Ellac River just before heading to the Cerulean Coast. At this area head into the forest to the north/northeast that has all the electric rams. Go to the location shown above to find the Brood. Here you will find the Forager Brood in a graveyard. Talk to it to get the Forager Brood Cookbook [3] and Yellow Fulgurbloom.

Forager Brood 4 (Cookbooks 4 & 7) Location: North of the Church of the Crusader in Scadu Atlus

You will find a Forager Brood along the cliffside to the north of the Church of the Crusader in Scadu Atlus. Unlike the last three this one works a bit different as you have to solve a bit of a puzzle to get its rewards.

This Brood, when found, is shivering and unresponsive. Use a Warming Stone or Sunwarmth Stone beside it to warm it up then reload the area. Return and speak to it to receive the Forager Brood Cookbook [4] and Shadow Sunflower.

Forager Brood Cookbook [7] From Moore

Important: If you’ve already broken the Great Rune and are at the part in Moore’s questline where you need to tell him what to do, do not do this part yet. Do it after you’ve gotten all the remaining cookbooks.

After you’ve saved this Forager Brood and collected its rewards go see Moore at the Main Gate Cross. Choose the Talk to Moore option and he will thank you for helping the injured Brood by giving you the Forager Brood Cookbook [7].

Forager Brood 5 (Cookbooks 5) Location: Swamp Area of Scadu Atlus

You will find a Forager Brood along the cliffside in the swamp area of Scadu Atlus. To reach it go directly north from Moorth Ruins through the cave there. On the otherside head to the location shown on the map above to find the Brood. Speak to it to receive the Forager Brood Cookbook [5] and Pearlescent Scale.

Forager Brood 6 (Cookbooks 6) Location: Eastside of Shadow Keep in Scadu Altus

You will find a Forager Brood along the cliffside just outside the east walls of Shadow Keep. You can reach it by going through the Church District or by way of the Church District High Road. When you speak to this Brood, you receive the Forager Brood Cookbook [6] and a Dewgem.
