Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Boss List
In Destiny 2: Shadowkeep players head to the familiar setting of the Moon to fight enemies, gather loot, and experience more of the game’s emerging storyline. Like previous planets, the Moon features a number of bosses (many of which players will be familiar with). To help you keep track of all of these bosses, check out our Shadowkeep boss list below.
Lost Sector Bosses
There are a total of four Lost Sectors on the Moon for players to complete. Like previous Lost Sectors each, Lost Sector ends in a boss fight. The bosses in each Lost Sector are as follows.
Nightmare of Kelnix Reborn
Location: K1 Logistics (Archer’s Landing).
In Archer’s Landing you will find the K1 Logistics Lost Sector. At the end of this Lost Sector you will encounter the boss Nightmare of Kelnix Reborn.
Nightmare of Rizaahn, The Lost
Location: K1 Communion (Anchor of Light).
In the Anchor of Light area there is a Lost Sector called K1 Communion. This Lost Sector leads to a boss called the Nightmare of Rizaahn, The Lost.
Nightmare of Reyiks, Actuator
Location: K1 Crew Quarters (Hellmouth).
In the area called Hellmouth you will find a Lost Sector called K1 Crew Quarters. At the end of this Lost Sector is a boss called Nightmare of Reyiks, Actuator.
Nightmare of Arguth, The Tormented
Location: K1 Revelation (Sorrow’s Harbor).
In the Sorrow’s Harbor area you will find the final Lost Sector called K1 Revelation. At the end of this Lost Sector you will face off against the Nightmare of Arouth, The Tormented. Unlike the other Lost Sector bosses, you need to awaken Arouth by destroying the four floating crystals in the boss arena.
Area Bosses
While out and about, you may stumble upon some area bosses. These bosses can appear randomly at times, while others are tied to certain missions. Check out the different area bosses below.
Bone Collector
Location: Anchor of Light.
The Bone Collector is a special enemy that spawns as part of the Symphony of Death Exotic mission. This boss appears near the Public Event in Anchor of Light. Killing this enemy nets you the Bone Collector’s Marrow (quest item).
Nightmare of Gothrax, Swarm Protector
Location: Sorrow’s Harbor, Archer’s Landing.
Throughout Sorrow’s Harbor you will encounter a number of Ogres that spawn in on the round plates throughout the zone. This ogre is called Nightmare of Gothrax, Swarm Protector. It can also randomly spawn in at Archer’s Landing.
Story Bosses
As you playthrough the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep story missions you will encounter a few bosses. These bosses should be familiar to those that played Destiny. Regardless here are the story bosses you will face.
Eye of the Swarm
Location: Lunar Battleground.
You will fight two Eye of the Swarm bosses during the mission A Mysterious Disturbance.
Hashladun, Daughter of Crota
Location: The Scarlet Keep.
During the Strike on the Moon you will go inside The Scarlet Keep. At the end of this area you will encounter the boss called Hashladun, Daughter of Crota.
Nightmare of Omnigul, Will of Crota
Location: ?
During the main story of Shadowkeep you will face off against a few Nightmare bosses. One of these bosses is Nightmare of Omnigul, Will of Crota. This boss can be fought over and over again via the Nightmare Hunt: Anguish mission in the end game.
Nightmare of the Fanatic
Location: Shrine of Oryx.
During the main story of Shadowkeep you will face off against a few Nightmare bosses. One of these bosses is Nightmare of Omnigul, Will of Crota. This boss can be fought over and over again via the Nightmare Hunt: Insanity mission in the end game.
Nightmare of Crota, Son of Oryx
Location: Chamber of Night.
The final story boss you will fight is the Nightmare of Crota, Son of Oryx. This boss can be found in the Chamber of Night. To defeat this boss you need to pick up the Relic swords dropped by Swordbearer Nightmares and use it on the boss. You can fight this boss over and over again via the Nightmare Hunt: Despair mission in the end game.
Grotheon, Gate Keeper
Location: Black Garden.
In the Vex Invasion mission you will work your way through the Black Garden to an end boss called Grotheon, Gate Keeper. This end boss is a Gate Keeper type vex enemy. While fighting this boss it will raise a shield. You need to use the lasers dropped by the vex enemies to lower this shield to deal damage to it.
