Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer Roadmap and Details Revealed

The most recent season in Destiny 2, Season of Chosen, is slated to end on May 11th. Once this season comes to an end the new season, Season of the Splicer, will begin from May 11 – August 24th. Like previous season the new season for Destiny 2 features new missions, new weapons, and seasonal activities to take part in. Ahead of its release Bungie has shared the Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer roadmap. See the roadmap below and what details it contains.

Season of the Splicer Roadmap and Season Details

The Season of the Splicer (Trailer) runs from May 11 – August 24th. While this season is active in Destiny 2 there are a variety of seasonal activities to take part in. Highlighting the season is a new seasonal story that includes an epilogue on August 10th. Alongside the story there are a slew of additions including new playlist weapon rewards, new nightfall weapon rewards, and a new season Ritual Weapon.

Besides the new seasonal additions a big change is coming alongside the seasonal release in the form of Armor Synthesis. This new system for Destiny 2 allows players to customize their Guardians in a new way. Ada-1 is back on the Tower to handle the new system. Basically you will be able to turn armor into Universal Armor Ornaments by defeating enemies for Synthcord. Synthcord can be turned into Synthweave to make Universal Armor Ornaments.
