There are a total of 21 achievements for players to unlock in the indie title Carrion. These achievements range from simple level completions to more complicated ones like finding all Containment Units. To help you 100% this title we’ve put together this Carrion achievements guide. In it you will find the solutions for all the achievements in the game.

Carrion Achievements List

The achievements in Carrion can be divided into two types: unmissable and missable. The majority of achievements are unmissable meaning they unlock by simply playing through and advancing the main story. If you just play the main storyline without any exploration you will around 17/21 achievements unlocked just by playing. The other four achievements are missable and require a bit of effort to collect.

Unmissable Achievements

The achievements listed here are unmissable. You can simply play the game and they will unlock naturally without any extra effort from you. The majority of the achievements listed below are all story and combat related.

  1. Flesh of Prey: Eat your first person which occurs naturally through the story. Should be the first achievement you unlock.
  2. It’s Alive: Complete the BSL-4 Research Ward level.
  3. Machines Can Expire Too: Complete the Military Junkyard level.
  4. The Derelict: Relive the First Flashback Sequence in the Frontier. Has to be completed to advance the story.
  5. Claustrophobia: Complete the Uranium Mines level.
  6. Intoxication: Complete the Hazardous Waste Landfill level.
  7. The Perfect Organism: Relive the Second Flashback Sequence in the . Has to be completed to advance the story.
  8. There’s Something in Those Trees: Complete the Botanical Gardens level.
  9. We Need to Go Deeper: Complete the Leviathan Reef Base level.
  10. A Cerebral Feast: Harvest your first ripe juicy head. Occurred naturally for me. Appears to be triggered by ripping the head off of an enemy.
  11. Stakeholder Meating: Complete the Relith Science HQ level.
  12. Water under the Bridge: Complete the Leviathan Reef Base level.
  13. Get to the Choppa: Relive the Final Flashback Sequence in the Frontier. Has to be completed to advance the story.
  14. Ionized: Complete the Nuclear Power Plant level.
  15. War… War Never Changes: Complete the Armored Warfare Facility level.
  16. 4 8 15 16 23 42: Complete the Bunker level.
  17. The New Reality: Complete Carrion.

Missable Achievements

Unlike the above mentioned achievements these four achievements can be missed. All four involve finding the game’s hidden Containment Units found in each level. In total there are 9 Containment Units for players to find. Our Containment Unit guide shows you the locations of them all so check it out.

  1. One Monster, One Jar: Gain access to 1 Containment Unit.
  2. Jarring Experience: Gain access to 3 Containment Units.
  3. Jean-Michel Jar: Gain access to 6 Containment Units.
  4. Jared Stults: Gain access to Gain all 9 Containment Unit.

Overall Carrion is a fairly easy game to 100%. It took me roughly 10 hours to complete it over two runs while writing guides. For the average person I would think you could 100% in about 3-4 hours with a guide or 6-8 hours without.
