Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Thorgest’s Drengir Guide
In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s Wrath of the Druids DLC there are a Drengir you can find in Ireland to fight. These Drengir are located in each of the areas and there is a side mission attached to finding and defeating them all. If you need help completing this mission this guide is for you. Blud the Giant (Giant’s Causeway)
You can find the Blud the Giant drengir in the Giant’s Causeway area in the northeast corner of Ulster. When you enter this area you will find Blud sitting next to some barrels., Approach him and speak to him. When you talk to Blud he will eventually challenge you to a fight. Accept it to start this boss fight. To make this fight fairly easy aim for the three weak spots on Blud. Once you hit all three follow up with a stun attack. This will takedown a good chunk of health making this boss easy to takedown. When you kill Blud you receive XP and +1 Ulster Mysteries.
Hogne the Sea-Tossed (Downpatrick Head)
In the north of Connacht there is an island called Downpatrick Head. On this island you will encounter Hogne the Sea-Tossed. Like Blud approach this NPC and speak to him. If you are ready to fight accept his challenge. Defeat Hogne using the similar tactics we use for Blud. Once dead you will need to interact with the body to give him a viking death.
Reach Lough Neagh the Find and Loot Thorgest’s Body
When you defeat both Blud and Hogne you will get a new quest objective. This quest objective is to go to Lough Neagh. Head to this large lake in Ulster. Swim out to the center of the lake where there is a tiny island. Swim off to the north of the island a few meters to find the hidden stash (use Odin vision). Open the stash to get the Thorget’s Shield.
That’s all you need to know to find all of the drengir in the Wrath of the Druids DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Completing this mission nets you a decent shield for your efforts.
