When you first settle your island in Animal Crossing New Horizons you may have noticed packages floating on balloons in the sky above. These balloons can be shot down with a Slingshot so you can get at the packages they are carrying. Of course at the start of the game you wont have a Slingshot. Where to Get the Slingshot Recipe?

To get the Slingshot recipe you need to build the Shop for Timmy and Tommy. To build the shop you need to collect a number of materials. Once these materials are acquired you will be able to place the shop on your island. Once placed, the shop will be open for business.

To buy the recipe from the shop make your way to the cabinet in the left corner of the shop. Interact with the cabinet to open it and access the menu there. Scroll through the menu until you reach the recipe section. Inside the recipe section you will find the recipe for the Slingshot. It costs a total of 300 Bells. Once you’ve purchased the Recipe you need to read it.

After you’ve read the recipe you can craft yourself a Slingshot from any DYI Workbench. To make a Slingshot you need to have the following materials:

After you’ve crafted the Slingshot it will be added to your inventory. With the Slingshot equipped you can shoot down those floating packages you may have noticed flying above you.
